Glide Technologies publishes a preview of its 2010 Annual Media Research
Glide Technologies, the provider of web-based software and online media centres for PR and communications teams, today released the UK results of its 2010 annual media research.
The research was compiled on Glide’s behalf by an independent research company, and targeted staff journalists, freelance journalists and bloggers to find out their views on how the PR industry is meeting their needs.
Questions were asked on industry trends: best ways of communicating with the media, how ways of researching stories have changed, the impact of social media on the industry and the role of PR agencies within the industry.
Some of the key findings included the information that 80% of the media like to receive information by email, but 78% are sent irrelevant, indiscriminate emails.
The findings will be available to download very soon.
